Whee. finally.. today is a free day for me. I hearts Wednesdays!! hahaha I've finally passed 2 presentations this week.. one more next week.. and hmm.. let's see... 3 projects, 1 mid term, 3 assignments, 3 presentations to go. Sigh. depressing but JIAYOU ELAINE!=)

After New york New york, we headed to Bakerzin to savour yummy desserts! I love this the most. ahhaa

Chocolate Souffle!! YUMMY!!

The insides are real soft but superbly sweet. Seriously suited for those sweet tooths!

And TADA! this is the famous Warm CHocolate cake with a dollop of Vanilla icecream perched on top!!!! so Pretty rite=)=)

Really happy to go out with them. I didn't regret any second of it really. =) In life it is indeed hard to find a really good group of people to hang out with and stay in contact after like.. 3 years? It is indeed harder to maintain a friendship after 10 years. I love all whom I still know and close to since Crescent days=) Cherryn! Candy! Jaslin! Shaowen! Beechun! Xingle! Aida! our friendship is TEN YEARS OLD!!!!! hahahaha its time to meet.

Eh but there was fishcake also which I did from scratch one OK!! I scrapped off the fish meat.. and minced the blardy meat again and again and pummeled it to beat some tanginess into it. That's why its chewy! Then I wrapped dried oysters inside.. then fry it!! I'm GOOD!!

Also my dad came back from Japan + Korea and he bought us some stuff!

The Japs always wrap their stuff so pretty!!

MAMA Birthday!

Was very busy and so bought her this cheesecake from NYDC. Too chessy already! but oh well. haha Sorry mama.. I didn't get u any present except this. ahha

My baby bought me new headphones. hahaha although it messes up my hair.. coz I listen to music everytime I am on the move..I prefer earpiece.. but oh well. Hahah He gave this to me then I gotta cherish it!=)

Thinking about this Saturday..Valentine's Day. What sort of meaning does it embodies?

A day to especially express ur love for the other twofold?

Like quite fake rite. You purposely get ur adrenaline rushing, your money flowing towards the contribution of the economy-- cards, flowers, candles, hotel rooms, lavish dinner spreads, cakes, soft toys, gifts.. ALL because some person SAID that you gotta be extra nice to that special someone on that day.

One gotta purposely 'force' themselves to get something.. so whatever u give on that day holds extra special meaning when in actual fact does not whatsoever..

Either I'm being cynical or just plain spoilsport..

My baby is working on that day. So sad rite. I am indeed part of that cycle, participating in that whirlwind of emotions riled by capitalists. If you are not able to participate in that 'mass event', you will feel left out, unloved, despondent if you are not attached and all the rest of ur frens are like LOVED. What to do.. how to break out of that cycle?

Nothing. Sulk. Because everyone's in it. You can't say no. Reject and risk being rejected. That's how the world work. Live with it.
