i JUST checked my nus email.. and saw this application for Cross Cultural Internship program in NEW YORK! I really really wanna go.. but sometimes I am always put off by the numerous rounds and steps needed to be taken before even getting there. I really wonder how CHerryn managed to do it. It is an internship application for a public relations and marketing position. Sounds pretty cool.. and may be a life changing experience..I dunno..

i must go renew my passport 1st. Argh. Mayb i shld just change to spore citizenship. I visited the ICA site.. they mentioned SO many benefits if u become the Singaporean. Besides the lil tax benefits and the occasional budget take-home...hai~ the clockworks of the society is certainly not very appealing..


I went to my Aunty's house the other day.. I always thought that her house was really big and nice and clean (coz they have a maid)..

Go there is always eating her nice juicy fruits and goodies and looking at her garden..

Sometimes feel that my mum is a very lonely person.. she does give alot for the family.. while we dun really give much back.. my dad...~~~~ it's no wonder she resorts to emo blackmail and obligatory feelings most of the time.. just wanting to get back some of the love and making us understand what it is like in her shoes..

Anway.. we went to Man Fu Yuan for dinner the other day.. something like the last day of CNY. hahah.

The last time I remembered of this place was the really YUMMY dim sum they had for lunch on my birthday. Doesn't come cheap.. and do not expect any cheaper for a CNY DINNER.

But seriously, I thought that the dishes were elegant and fine.

This is totally looking much better than those you find in supermarket rite. There isn't that yucky ginger thingy (which I am thankful of). Quite nice really

After this, was the succulent Cod fish with bean sauce that just melts in your mouth with every bite!!! Recommended!!

HUGE mushroom. a HUMONGOUS Oyster and a fine section of Abalone and a small blackish pool (fa cai) amidst vegetables.

SUPER NICE!!!!! *drool drool*

Then next was this ...

Glutinous Rice with Taiwan Xiang Chang (sausage) and diced mushroom.

MANGO Sago (with pomelo) for DESSERT!
This was no ordinary mango sago. Really had thick slices of mango swimming~

Hai.. still gotta think about the cross cultural thingy.. or mayb I shld just make my life easier and apply for a local company internship...
