HAPPY Chinese New Year to all my bao beis=)=)

It came and it went. Just like that. Sigh~

Ringgit all day long. So what I got angpaos.. its half the amount back here. awwww....

Feb is a terrible month for me too. Got my parents' birthdays, XL birthday, Valentine's day.. March is Baby's birthday. Rahhhhhhhhh And my school work is piling up.

The amount of workload and projects and assignments were like dawning on me when I came back and decided to really take a look at what I need to do this semester. Totally shitness

And due to my eyelash extensions.. I wear contact lens everyday, coz if I wear specs, the eyelashes touches the lens. Totally Mafan. So hence.. I am living my day to day in a blur reality. I can't see things properly.

I ate this in Chinatown. I really think it is unique, refreshing and tasty!

The trip to CNY:

I have already posted alot of pics on facebook and very lazy to do too much of the repetitive uploading here. So just gonna summarise. haha~


Was damn sleepy. Coz it was early 5am and there were 5 pple in the car. Based on my unfortunate body mass, I have to squeeze with my mum and fangfang at the back. My legs were screaming to be stretched I tell u.

And worse.

THREE HOURS of jam which lasted from AYE to the Singapore Customs.

What nonsence right.

Anyway.. soon we got started on the 5hr journey..








Saw many pretty things along the way. Was quite cham to stay in a car for a whole 5 hrs.


But I was not the only one suffering lah. All of us were.

Everyone had the opportunity to squeeze..

Reached KL. Ate lots of stuff. A heavy lunch.


Then shopping at KLCC aka Twin Towers.


Didn't buy anything except chewing gum=)=) Shhhhhhhhhh

After that headed to Sandy's house to eat dinner.

This was on Saturday... a pre-tuan yuan fan dinner. Pretty nice. Got to stay over with Sandy also.

I was like damn sleepy that day.. sorry sandy! If I didn't talk too much with you and totally mumbled my way to sleep. I didn't even know when I slept lah!!! hahah

eh...... BTW Sandy... u never...never... eat my toufu without me knowing RITE?? *Whimpers and covers the blanket up to my eyes* *flutter eyelashes nervously*

Oh wth. hahaha I know u are a decent girl. hoho~ though I'm irresistable, you still wanna protect me rite? Muahhaha

The next day, we went out shopping at MidValley. This mega big shopping centre.

Not much lah. Just lots of shops loh. Got Topshop, Mango, Zara, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge. But I totally dun really feel like shopping.

But my dad did buy me a bag that day.

Wait wait wait! Dun get shocked by the brand. Its only 20 Sing dollars!. hahaha cheap rite.

So pretty rite.


Great hubby and wife~ OEI. go Taiwan better buy me something I TELL YOU.

The whole place was decked with red and really full of the CNY festive mood. I kinda liked it=)




I even went for fortune telling ok!!!

I have no idea whether he is a fraud from China. But he said that I am a person who wants the best for everything in everything I do. And that I am always a happy person. I will make a great wife and will do good in business. (seriously.. got such person on earth MEH.)

AND ALSO. something he said was really quite true. Was quite surprised when he said it. He managed to guess correctly that I stayed in the West, and he actually said...
I am picky with men.

True or not.

He said I meet one guy..will see his qualities..then see another guy.. will compare again..then will keep tiao and tiao.. EVEN AFTER MARRIAGE.

Happy happy pple. Though my grandmother was not really.. coz she misplaced her angpaos which she packed before hand. Shitty rite.

my mum really looks damn young can. she going to fade into the background already.

1st thing in the morning.. it is a tradition to eat these noodles.. really yummy!!

Straight after visiting my popo house after that, its the hit onto the roads back to Singapore again!

Sigh. Short time spent in KL.. but nice I would say=)

All in all... pple say I prettier.. say I look angmoh.. my nai nai say my butt still looks the same.. BIG.

Next time if I die and can't see my face.. just look at my butt. I'm sure I can be identified that way~~~

Traveling to Malaysia in 7 hours time.. BUt gotta wake up at 4am. Damnation.

Oh well.. at first I started off the day with the happy jitters.. knowing that I am actually getting out of this small island for a while and take a breather at the other side.

Hell. I hate the pre CNY cleaning and my mum being worried and very jumpish with everything. She getting irritated and nonsensical comments..

Sigh. It is indeed hard to control my inner emotions.


Coz my struggle with my irritatedness will clearly show on my face and actions. Simply can't keep it in or put on a different face for the benefit of everyone beside me.


Enough of that. Being safe in my room and being with my lifetime partner (my laptop), *I MISS POOTPOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* sobx. He got sent... to a hotel... sobx* HOw am i getting slp from now till Thursday!!!!! damnation. I miss him already. hai. Wonder what actually goes through that tiny brain of his. hahah

The other day went to my Mom's fren's house. SHe is really very awesome with her conventional oven. She was baking like peanut cookies when we reached lah! And of coz she gave us like cornflakes and almond, mushroom, blahblah.. those that u usually exchange in the name of pleasantries of CNY.

She was quite nice lah I must say=) She even invited the family over to eat crabs after CNY. haha~

I love her dogs though. U dun see this everyday..==> 2 Huskies (brown and the white one)

Brownie! Has really brown eyes. Pretty boy! hahaha


I seriously love this picture.. Haha though she looks abit scary.. but she is really really very gentle and sweet. Unlike Brownie who just JUMPS on people lah!!

Really took my breath away upon the attack of Brownie's paws. its like OOF!



Went to CHinatown with my parents to get my grandparents some Chinese medicine thingy and cookies and bought pussywillow too!

Singapore really getting into the festive mood...

Next Big News:


I went for eyelash extensions!!!

Yes yes. Impulsive.. but I really wanna try ma. Hai. set me back a double digit number. I hate it.

ANyway.. Let me tell u about the experience so that you guys can consider whether or not u really want (in case you are actually secretly contemplating to do so=) )

Process:

The eyelashes are made from some synthetic material.. it actually feels like fake eyelashes.
You can choose to have 1/2/3 layers. The more layers you put, the darker and more DENSE your eyelashes would be. I decided on a 2 layer one, which takes 1 1/2 hrs. I almost died lying down for so long...

1stly, they led me to this bed thingy. So I lay down and they got to work!

Next, they applied this eye gel mask thingy below my eyes..which I have no idea why. It was a bit uncomfortable but ok.

Therafter, she started applying the eyelashes one by one with this special glue and used the tweezers to place them strategically among your real lashies! Guess it's rather tough for them as well.. cannot hand tremble if not she will poke my eye. Or if sudden jerky movement prob put the eyelash on my eyebrow instead.. 0_0

Haha! After that, one hour passed.. just wait for a while...and then she came back with some tweezers (those kind which u pluck ur armpit hairs with), and squeezed aka GIAP! the lashes together.. both real and fake ones. then check check

WALA!

OK FINE. cannot really see. Haha but really longer lah..


So its kinda like falsies all day long! 24/7.

Advantages:

1. Chio lahes all day long!
2. Dun need to remove those fake eyelashes every night and look natural instead! Think of mascara-ed eyelashes. 24/7.
3. It is resistant to water so goody! Based on what I researched, you can even swim with it! So no worries=)
4. Very portable! I dun need to bring glue everywhere I go now and I dun need to bring eyelashes to msia too! Just me and those stuck on my eyelash lids. =)=)

Disadvantages:

1. It will drop as time passes. I worry about them EVERYDAY can. When I have false eyelashes I always worry about it just suddenly losing the adhesiveness and just droop when a daopok walk past or something. Now, I am afraid that a chunk will fall out. But nothing so far so cool=) Is this an advantage? Yeah kinda also leh. Coz I worry lesser.. It looks more natural=) Drop one or two is better then something drooping in the middle of your eyes.

2. To maintain it for a longer period of time (to make the money's worth), make sure you dun let it go near any oily stuff.. like moisturiser or makeup remover.. so this is like.. WTH for me.
Coz I love putting on eyeliner and to take it off.. Remover RITe?? Now I gotta resort to using cotton buds. I take quite long to get them off=( I dry them like super carefully.. and when I wash face.. gotta take it slow.. Sigh.

One word. MAFAN.

3. I think according to what I found online and what they say, it will last like 2 weeks.. so a double digit for a 2 weeks worth.. seriously.. I think.. I am not wealthy enough to keep it up. To touch up, its 2 bucks an eyelash. Siao gao. the eyelash is seriously some kind of special money branch.

But then again... manicure is about the same thing rite? Its double digit and it doesn't last too long if u dun take care of it properly.. due to it chipping off or my itchy fingers jut gotta peel them off. Muahaha~

Oh well. All in all, a nice experience.. Whether I will go back again?

Hmm.. gotta check my bank account 1st.
