AHHH was thinking of blogging then my group members gathered already. So in short.

I got the Pearson Internship now. But I'm waiting for SPH's reply. HELP!

I got much advice on what to do and now its sort of sorted out. TILL TUESDAY. On one hand I hope to get SPH's scholarship, but its gonna be tough and I doubt abit of whether I'm up to it.

I wonder how the interview went. HAHA sorry for the late updates. I got through to the interview rounds, for SPH and Pearson. Went for SPH's one today..

I was fully prepared and armed with possible answers and questions from the books that my brother lent to me, EG. "Brilliant answers to tough interview questions".

NONE OF THEM WERE OF USE.

wahhhh and worse still, this could be considered my 1st formal interview that I have ever gone to, and so shitty that this challenge was THREE interviewers vs. ME. *shrinks into my seat as the interview progresses*...

I found the whole thing quite ok though nerve wrecking. I also found that I am VERY longwinded in my answers. Guess that I have to learn from this experience and let it be a reminder for the next interview as an editor intern for Pearson Education South Asia Pte. Ltd.

Preening in some ulu toilets in NUS. hoohoo I always love to familarise myself with these kinds of toilets.. OF COZ not for this sole purpose of camwhoring with ease, but of coz to have a great time in the toilet.. ALL for my own shitting pleasure. TEEHEE! admit lahh I'm sure lots of you do the same and value the privacy one gets from these toilets around school=)This was last Wednesday, before I went for the Pearson writing test. They called me on the same day to arrange for an interview. Quite cool lah. Was my editing skills that good? Or was it too easy to get the internship? No idea. Hope its the former=P

Hmmm I am also very keen in the idea of setting up a blog to sell stuff, like clothes, manga, books coz I moving house. Do you think anyone like 2nd hand stuff these days? Seriously doubt so, but if i package it nicely and spam everyone's facebook n forums n friendster.. I'm sure someone will take notice RITE! lolx. Anyone wanna liaise with me? hoohoo!

Anyway was also thinking I'm quite an introvert actually. Why do everyone say that I'm bubbly and outgoing? Multifaceted identities to different publics. Who am I? identity crisis.My baby is there for me. thats what matters.. though he is so busy nowadays and sometimes him not being there for me gets me on my nerves.

EXAMPLE:
ME on Sunday at 4pm, "why he never call me..how come it seems like I always have to take the initiative to call him...sigh...miss baby.."

ME on Sunday at 5pm look at phone..getting irritated, "sigh... maybe he's busy lah.. BUT I just dun wanna call him..Hmph wait for him to call.."

ME on Sunday after dinner at 8pm..check phone with the slightest hope for some message. "STUPID MAN. ARGH. No sms. he DOESn't even bother about me. ARGH. FINE. I WUN CALL HIM."

Me on Sunday at 9pm..tapping my fingers disconcertedly and glancing at my screen time and again.. "Men.. *shakes head and frown* sigh. chou nan ren(irritating stupid man). Either bored then call, something happen then call, going to sleep then call. RAHHhhhh."

Me on Sunday night goes into a foul fishy mood. Thought I could show off some petty girly temper and get some lovey dovey stuff out of him.

PS: today was the first time I squeezed the BLARDY pimple on my nose and it went PIAK! on to the mirror and all the blood just GUSHed out. damn shuang when it burst but the amt. of blood horrified me. hhAHaa pimple saga over~~

I went for the SPH scholarship writing test today. Think its ok, though I did get shocked when I saw I had to do summary for a pretty tough passage. The vocabulary was SUPER difficult too. Can u think of a word to replace unsanguinely? like hello....

The essay questions were also quite nostalgic, reminds me of the GP days. They have questions like comment on the arts in singapore lah.. the education system lah.. such stuff lah. haha~ I did the question "What are the major challenges that journalists in Singapore face today?" Difficult? I think quite ok lah=) Luckily I took the module on Mass media and society last semester. I just made some points lah.. but think I didn't elaborate enough. I can't publish my whole essay here.. though they asked me to delete but stupidly enough they dun remember the Edison Chen scandal. I CAN easily retrieve it form my trashbiN!! tsktsk.. pple just don't learn. AHAHHA so I retrieved it so as to show my dad... well this is my first and last paragraph!

Today has been an eventful day=)

We finally bought a house. Damn fast rite.. hahaha We are moving from Toh Tuck Road.. to Toh Yi Drive. kekeke~ sounding wise, its stupid, but realistically speaking, the environment is more familiar. sigh~ the packing days and moving and dust and spiders are upon me. Help.

I received a call from SPH today too!! Going for their writing test this Thursday. THREE long hours can. Wonder how I would fare this time. I really do not want to see it get screwed up like it did when I applied for NTU's Mass Communication. Freaking embarrassed to say I failed to get in as well. The most I'm expecting out of this is to get a really decent internship at Straits Times. =)=)

Today my tutor also praised me! Really happy as it reaffirms my love for writing ONCE again=) *hugs my paper and pen*

Feeling really happy about myself today(besides my size), though I went jogging today!! huffing and puffing along the roads..haha! However, tomorrow I gotta rush from place to place. Really gonna tire myself out this week..and next few weeks in fact.

Many things happening at home. Did I say this in my last post? Haha.. but its true and the whole family has been buzzing around those topics the past few days..*sighs*. But its nice i think.. it sort of promotes communication between us and yet of course, it means very xin fan for all of us as well!

Tomorrow is my last mid term paper of the week!! the Killer paper.. ugh. Sociology level 3 module. I am just very paranoid about the levels.. being level 3 indicates the toughness of the paper and the increased expectations in your answer. HAHAH i WANT TOMORROW TO PASS QUICKLY!!!!!!!!!

I am going to quit my bukit panjang tuition as well.. anyone wanna take it up? p6 english, maths and science. 15 per hour. =) quite low lah hor.. but the girl is quite nice~I feel guilty...

Stuff going on at home..

Priority: Tackle my mid term exams.. suck big time!
2nd: Find my internships and follow up on my SPH Scholarship application. Today Pearson publishing company called me up with regards to my internship application!!! quite excited but of course I must get past the interview first=)
3rd: Follow up on my SEP application
4th:Finish my projects and assignments..
5th: Find a house for my family..

6th: Bathe with closed doors. hAHAHAA coz my brother come home le.. so cannot anyhow walk arnd the house naked. huRHURHurhu~~ lolx

Feel much better after out with the girls at Dempsey last Friday~ Really had fun and the talktime spent together is just so precious and worthwhile. Thanks girls! =) Guess I just haven got on track in the road that I have to take as my life progresses.. There are really more to learn and get involved in out there.. =) Shall have to mingle and find my way..~ *smiles* Meanwhile.. I Shall Ponder Some more..
