This was one of the restaurants which I went to with my parents last weekend..
It was a really nice place.. great ambience that exuded wealth and they had very quintessential pieces displayed all around. A bit Victorian style~
Pretty rite!
Even their mirrors were tinted with interesting swirls that managed to add character to the whole place..
Happy Elaine!
Cute plates with printed cats on the rims.
And my dad ordered this beetroot with apple concoction. Total eww-ness for me.
We also had pizza, which was REALLY good. (but the one at Timbre still ranked No. 1) This was a chicken with oyster sauce pizza. Thin crust with cheesy melted goodness that just dribbles into your mouth.
We also ordered this sandwich. It had huge CHUNKY chicken breast, mayo, avocado, bacon, egg.. *licks fingers* the best ingredients one could ask for in a sandwich.. Quite nice.. but still lacking in terms of the bread. A bit dry and tough. Gotta improve on that! The last thing we ordered was this tuna salad. Upon reading that name, what came into my mind was canned tuna plus mayo then mix into greens and WALA! there you go, a salad which costs 12 bucks.
I was wrong.
It was a whole SLAB of cooked tuna nestled among the bed of greens, really yummy dressing to go along with it, beans, olives, tomatoes, egg and potato as well!
This is a closer look at the tuna goddess..And guess what..
The insides are still raw! Very unexpected rite! The outsides are crispy and succulent, while the inside is a rosy red with its natural juices still tucked within, waiting to be discovered.Awesome I must say.. *burps*
All in all, I must say they are a pretty expensive place, but serves a good fare of dishes.
Happy Elaine with happy dad~And this is my Face of the week:
wheee~~
